The Dog Dasher is a homestyle boarding and doggy daycare environment. We strive to make your pups feel as much at home as possible! They will not be in a kennel like most facilities; instead, they will get free roam of the house just as they do at home! The Dog Dasher is limited to five guests (one being our personal dog) to ensure each dog gets a high quality experience and more individualized care.

What is included in the cost of boarding and doggy daycare?

• FREE daily picture or video updates

• Your dog will not be confined in a kennel and will roam freely

• Will stay in The Dog Dasher's personal home

• Fenced in yard where they will get to run, play with toys, or play with friends

• Music and lights left on if left alone

• Dogs get to sleep how they are used to at home (on a dog bed, human bed, or crate)

• Solo play time for those who need it

• Doesn't charge extra for more potty breaks, play yard time, giving medication, etc. (you will find many kennels/vets do this)

• Never left alone for long periods of time (only for offsite business for drop-ins/walks)

• Your pets will receive plenty of time to exercise and do their business

• The Dog Dasher will love your pets as if they are their own!

What is required to come to The Dog Dasher?

There are a few rules set in place to ensure each dog is safe and has the most fun throughout their stay. Your dogs must be dog friendly, not people aggressive, fully house trained (puppies 11 months and younger are the exception), not destructive, no previous mounting tendencies, and up to date on all vaccines/flea and tick prevention. Your dogs do not need to be crate trained (on certain conditions). If your pet has a tendency to chew/get into things, mark/have excessive accidents inside the home, or mount other dogs, we will ask that they be crate trained. We have large crates on hand for those who need it.

So how do I get started?

All new and previous clients must fill out the Introduction Form (Contracts) so that we may learn about your fur babies personality and to provide you with more details of what is required. Please fill out the form below if you would like to be sent a copy of this form. It will need to be printed, read/filled out entirely, and brought to The Dog Dasher, or scanned and emailed back. If you are not able to print this, please let me know, and we would be happy to provide you with a copy.

 

All new clients must have a first meet and greet with us and our personal dog before their stay. This is to help them become used to us and the environment. If your dog has only ever stayed with friends or family it is HIGHLY suggested that you bring your dog for a trial day of daycare or a one night before a longer stay. I do give a free half day of daycare (up to 4 hours) for those who are unsure how your pup will do. This will help see if we are a good fit for you and your dog!
